Basin Taps & Mixers

Our basin taps and mixers are Imperial designs from the Radcliffe, Victorian, Edwardian, Lichfield and Regent ranges: mono mixers, tall monos, 3-hole mixers and pillar taps, each in five finishes.

Check your basin first. The number of tap holes, and whether the basin sits on a worktop or against the wall, decides which style will fit.

Buying guides

Matching the tap to your basin

  • One tap hole: a mono mixer. Choose a tall mono, such as the Radcliffe tall mono basin mixer, when the basin sits on top of a vanity unit or worktop.
  • Two tap holes: a pair of pillar taps, offered in the Edwardian, Lichfield and Regent ranges.
  • Three tap holes: a 3-hole mixer, with hot and cold handles either side of the spout.
  • No tap holes: the Radcliffe 3-hole wall basin mixer comes out of the wall, so its pipework must be planned before tiling.

Picking a range

Each range has its own handles and spout shape, so it is worth choosing one and using it for the bath and shower too. Radcliffe basin mixers let you choose white or black ceramic levers, which is an easy way to tie the taps to a black-and-white floor or dark vanity unit. The Victorian and Edwardian ranges lean fully traditional, while the Regent covers mono, tall mono, 3-hole and pillar options in one design.

What is the best tap for a cloakroom basin?

A small basin needs a compact tap. The Victorian cloak mono basin mixer is designed for smaller cloakroom basins.

Which finishes are available?

Every basin tap here comes in chrome, antique gold, polished nickel, brushed nickel and brushed brass. Browse by finish, for example on our brushed nickel page, or read our guide to bathroom tap finishes.

How long do basin taps take to arrive?

Imperial taps are made to order: chrome takes roughly one week and the other finishes roughly four weeks, so order before your fitter needs them.

Should the bath taps match?

Ideally, yes. Most ranges here also make bath taps and bath shower mixers, and you can see the full taps and showers collection in one place.
