A fitted wardrobe is built into the room rather than standing in it. It runs up to the ceiling and into the alcoves, recesses and corners a freestanding wardrobe leaves empty, so you get more storage from the same wall and a calmer, more finished look. We plan:

Fitted wardrobes are made to your room, so there is no single price. The cost depends on:
- Size: the width and height of the run and the number of doors.
- Door style and finish: ranges, colours and handles are priced differently.
- Interiors: hanging rails, shelves, drawers and other internal fittings.
- The shape of the room: corners, sloping ceilings, chimney breasts and alcoves need more planning and fitting time.

Sliding doors suit some rooms better than hinged doors. Ask at your consultation which door options are available in the range you like.
Can you build a fitted corner wardrobe?
Yes. We plan corner wardrobes as part of the whole bedroom, so the corner links the wardrobe runs on each wall and the space inside is easy to reach.
Can you fit wardrobes around a sloping ceiling or chimney breast?
Yes. Fitted wardrobes are planned around the room, including sloping ceilings, chimney breasts, alcoves, windows and radiators.
Do you remove our old wardrobes?
Removing old furniture and making good the walls and floor can be included in your quote, so it is all handled by one team.
Can I see the furniture before I order?
Yes. A selection of JT Ellis bedroom furniture is on display in our Birmingham showroom, Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm.
