What is a whirlpool bath?
A whirlpool bath has a pump that pushes water and air through jets set into the bath, giving a massaging effect while you soak. Our whirlpool baths are Carron baths fitted with a C-Lenda system by hand at the Carron factory, with low-profile jets that sit flush with the bath so it still looks clean and simple when the system is off.
Is a whirlpool bath the same as a Jacuzzi?
Jacuzzi® is a brand name that many people use for any whirlpool or spa bath, so you will often see whirlpool baths described as jacuzzi baths. Ours are Carron C-Lenda whirlpool baths rather than Jacuzzi® branded products, but they do the same job: warm water and massaging jets in your own bathroom.
Which whirlpool system should I choose?
There are six systems. Systems 1 and 4 have six side jets; systems 2, 3, 5 and 6 add six back jets and four foot jets for a fuller massage. Systems 1 to 3 use simple pneumatic controls, while systems 4 to 6 are electronic. Systems 3 and 6 also include a chromotherapy light. Each bath page only shows the systems that fit that bath. You can add extra foot jets or a chromotherapy light too.
Why Carronite?
Whirlpool baths are made in Carronite, Carron's stronger, more rigid reinforced acrylic, and the Carronite upgrade is free when you add a whirlpool system. The prices shown already include that saving.
What do I need to install one?
A whirlpool bath needs its own electrical supply, fitted by a qualified electrician, and access to the pump for servicing, usually through a removable bath panel. We can plan the bath, panels and electrics with you at a free one-to-one consultation. Prefer a plain bath? See all our acrylic baths and baths.
