Acrylic Baths

Acrylic baths are light, warm to the touch and come in more shapes than any other material. Our range includes straight, shower, corner and freestanding baths from Carron, many also available in Carronite, Carron's reinforced acrylic with a 40-year warranty, plus Duravit's D-Code, No.1 and D-Neo and our own Tilelyte Bath Collection.

Many of our freestanding acrylic baths can be finished in almost any colour to order, and built-in baths can be ordered with matching panels.

Buying guides

Why choose an acrylic bath?

Weight is the big one. The acrylic baths in this range weigh between 32kg and 48kg empty, while a cast iron bath can weigh well over 100kg, so acrylic is much easier to carry upstairs and puts far less load on the floor. Acrylic also feels warm to the touch straight away, and it can be moulded into textured and fluted shapes that would be hard to achieve in other materials. Our guide to cast iron vs acrylic baths compares the two in more detail.

Freestanding, slipper, boat or back-to-wall

  • Double-ended freestanding baths such as the Eliza and Hettie put the waste in the middle so you can lie either way round.
  • Slipper and boat baths have raised ends to lean against. The Dora is raised at both ends, while the Audra and Maeve sit on traditional plinth bases.
  • Back-to-wall baths like the Gracie and Juliet have a flat back that sits against the wall, with a ledge for deck-mounted taps.

Textured and fluted designs

If you want the bath to be the feature of the room, look at the surface. The Fayre has a diamond texture, the Ingra a basket weave, and the Ginette and Sofie have Art Deco-style fluting.

Can an acrylic bath be painted?

Yes. Any bath in this range can be hand-painted to order in the UK, in Farrow & Ball or Dulux shades, a match to your own sample, or a metallic finish. Contact us for details and pricing.

Which taps suit these baths?

The freestanding baths have no tap holes, so they need a floor-standing bath filler or wall-mounted taps. The Gracie and Juliet take deck-mounted taps on the back ledge, and the Sofie suits corner-mounted taps. Browse our bath taps and bath shower mixers and match the waste finish to your taps.

Is there an acrylic bath for a small bathroom?

Yes. The Jena is 1350mm long, the Hettie and Juliet are 1500mm, and the Ginette also comes in a 1500mm length. See every compact model on our small baths page.

What warranty do the baths have?

Each bath carries a 7-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Can I get advice before I order?

Yes. Book a free one-to-one consultation through our contact page to talk through size, style and fitting, or compare every material in our full baths collection.
